Man shot during lowrider car show in Seattle’s SODO neighborhood

SEATTLE — Police are investigating after a 23-year-old man was shot during a lowrider car show in the SODO neighborhood on Saturday evening.

At around 10:00 p.m., officers were sent to reports of a shooting in the 2400 block of 4th Avenue South, where a car show was being held.

Upon arrival, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his upper thigh. Officers gave medical aid at the scene before crews with the Seattle Fire Department took over.

The man was taken by SFD medics to the hospital in stable condition.

Police have not found any evidence or identified any suspects. Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
