
Greater Fall River Re-Creation will host its fourth annual Community Block Party on May 17.
According to a community announcement, the event will take place outdoors from noon to 3 p.m. at 45 Rock St. Residents are invited to enjoy a free afternoon filled with activities such as face painting, a rock wall, balloon art, and spray paint art.
There will also be free food, refreshments, and a DJ playing music. Resource tables will be available from local community members. Vendor parking will be located on Bedford Street inside the People Inc. lot, while public parking will be available in the Troy Street lot.
The event is free to the public. The organization is grateful to its friends at Massachusetts Department of Public Health Gun Violence Prevention Program for helping in serving the community to an afternoon of live music, food, and fun.
