Rotarians in Rotary Districts 5840 and 5870 packed 910 bags of food for San Marcos School Fuel on Saturday, May 3 at Embassy Suites in San Marcos. The volunteer work was part of a bidistrict conference of Rotarians from all over South and Central Texas. San Marcos Rotarians transported the food to and from School Fuel’s facility. School Fuel provides Kindergarten to 12th grade students in San Marcos with bags of food for weekends and holidays when school meals are not available. Rotary and School Fuel are both all-volunteer nonprofits.
