Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive returns May 10

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The largest national one-day food drive to help fill the shelves of local food banks returns this Saturday, May 10. The National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual ‘Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive’ has been going strong nationwide since 1993.

Letter carriers will take the bag and bring it to the nearest local food bank.

On the second Saturday of May, you are asked to place a bag of nonperishable food items next to your mailbox. Letter carriers will take the bag and bring it to the nearest local food bank.

The Istrouma Area Council of the Boy Scouts is helping the National Association of Letter Carriers with the annual ‘Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.’

For the second consecutive year, the Istrouma Area Council of the Boy Scouts will be assisting in this year’s drive at a local level.
