Happy Nurses Week 2025! Here’s how to get free Chipotle, Krispy Kreme and other food deals

National Nurses Week is here, allowing us to show our gratitude toward our health care workers including through special discounts and deals.

It comes amid Teacher Appreciation Week, in which our educators are celebrated for their hard work, including through some deals foodies will love.

National Nurses Week, which kicked off Tuesday, May 6, and ends on May 12, has been celebrated annually during these dates since its weeklong designation by the American Nurses Association in the 1990s, although there were earlier efforts recognizing nurses, according to the American Nurses Enterprise.

How to get Chipotle free burritos during Nurses Week 2025

Health care workers can visit healthcarethanks.chipotle.com for a chance to win a free burrito e-card, according to a news release. People can enter through May 12. Starting May 13, 100,000 healthcare workers will be randomly selected to receive an email to verify their employment status, and those who do so within 48 hours will receive their free burrito e-card.

Score 20% on your order through May 11 with a valid ID. This discount is valid for dine-in, call-in, and walk-in orders, according to a news release.

• Applebee’s: Some locations will give nurses a free appetizer with the purchase of an entree through May 10.
• Krispy Kreme: Although this deal isn’t exclusive to nurses, people can stop by Krispy Kreme on Wednesday, May 7, for a free glazed doughnut at participating locations. No purchase is necessary.
• Mountain Mike’s Pizza: Mountain Mike’s Pizza is offering teachers and nurses 15% off all pizza with code “APPRECIATE25” from May 6-9, the company told USA TODAY.
• Mod Pizza: Mod Pizza is inviting nurses to visit any participating location and enjoy a Buy One, Get One Free pizza offer from May 5-8. To redeem the offer, participants must present a valid nurse ID at checkout, with a limit of one free pizza per ID. With the purchase of any pizza, they’ll receive a second pizza free. The offer is only valid in-stores, the company told USA TODAY.
• Outback Steakhouse: Nurses can receive 10% off their entire check with a valid medical ID.
