CHATHAM, Ill. (WICS) — Community support for Chatham school families has been evident in various ways, including a partnership with SkyZone to offer children a chance to “just be kids” at the trampoline park without any cost to parents.
SkyZone opened its doors for three hours this afternoon, allowing kids to jump and play for free.
Organizers of the event said this initiative provides children with a much-needed break from the recent tragedy.
Adam Bugos from the Winchester Sales Team said, “The tragedy has kids staying home and we all have kids in the Chatham school district. We just felt like we needed to get them out of the house.”
Several other local businesses are also stepping up to support the Chatham community, including distributing red ribbons to help others show their support.
