The camera zooms in closer on a 3D scene of the ancient Egyptian temple, which is decorated with torches, palm trees, and obelisks carved with hieroglyphs, with a pyramid seen in the distance. The camera focuses on the wall before settling down, and the figure on the ancient temple walls, controlled by the player, begins to run along the crack of the limestone blocks, turning at the end of a surface.
In just ten seconds, it felt like a journey back to the mysterious past, filled with ancient wisdom and human beings’ early creations. There doesn’t seem to be any other footage shared about this project, and its name or game genre hasn’t been revealed. The gameplay mechanics are also unclear, but it appears to be a perfect fit for the puzzle-platformer genre.
Now that the prototype has garnered lots of attention, it has the potential to grow into a full game. If you would love to see how it evolves, don’t hesitate to follow the project on X/Twitter.
Kelonia Games has one upcoming title listed on Steam, which is an action game called UnCubed where you’re a hero who can shapeshift between pixelated and voxel forms to solve puzzles, battle enemies, and uncover secrets. Check it out if you’re interested.
