Cars, Cigars and Guitars fundraiser car show returning Aug. 16 – Cheyenne, WY Cap City News

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The annual Cars, Cigars and Guitars car show will return to the Cheyenne Community Aug. 16, and will benefit four new local charities this year.

For the 2025 event, the four new local charities that have been chosen from many applicants are, CASA, Habitat for Humanity, Rooted in Cheyenne and Veterans Rock.

Car Registration is now open here. Raffle tickets for a new 2023 CFMoto UForce 1000 XL are available to purchase through the charities as well as on the website.

Over $300,000 was raised over the last five years.

All net proceeds from the prior events went to eligible charities which includes: Girls on the Run, Skills USA, Comea Shelter, K9’s for Mobility, Unaccompanied Students Initiative, Habitat for Humanity, Safehouse, Family Promise, Cheyenne Day of Giving, Meals on Wheels Cheyenne, Needs Inc., South Side Sluggers, Coats for Kids, Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative, Veterans Rock, CASA of Laramie County, Cheyenne Depot Museum, Rise Foundation, Unaccompanied Students Initiative & Lions Disability Transport Service, in addition to several other local charities. This year’s show will once again be nationally televised by Lokar Car Shows.

“Sam Runyan /Charles SCHWAB have continued to be our Premier Sponsor underwriter for this event and we have the community, volunteers, car owners and nearly 75 sponsors and underwriters to thank for the success this event has in benefitting local charities,” show founder Tim Joannides said,

This car show is scheduled to run from 3 to 8 p.m. at Frontier Park Exhibition Hall, 1312 West 8th Avenue in Cheyenne.
