WEST FARGO, N.D. – The 48th annual Valley Vintage Car Show rolled into the Veterans Memorial Arena this weekend.

For a ten-dollar entry fee, spectators could check out 99 different cars, some being manufactured as far back as the year 1912.

There were also vendors selling various forms of merchandise and concessions so people could eat or drink as they looked at the vehicles.

Event organizers say the most special part of shows like these are the bonds that form as a result.

“There’s a lot of people that come in, show their cars, talk to the guy next to them, and pretty soon they strike up a friendship,” explained Chairman Jason Geir.

“It’s like a family community in the car hobby, once you get to know some of the people, and it’s a lot of fun.”

Furthermore, the event raised $5,000 to be split between 5 different local charities.
