RINELANDER, Wis. (WAOW) – The Rhinelander Food Pantry held a fundraiser to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
The celebration was held at the pines event center. Attendees participated in raffles and auctions, all to celebrate two decades. The pantry is a non profit organization, and around 80% of their funding comes directly from their community. Without them, they couldn’t do what they do.
Courtney Smith, The Executive Director of the Rhinelander Food Pantry said, “This has been a year of reflection for us, looking back over 20 years of really deep partnerships, incredibly strong friendships, with local businesses and individuals… We love to get together with our supporters and our friends, share a good meal, and really keep our mind on creating food security in our community.”
Food Pantry leaders added that they are beyond fortunate to have a community that cares about one another as much as Rhinelander does.
