NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) – A Friday afternoon semi crash at a taco truck in Nacogdoches left pedestrians injured.
Customers and employees were at the Ruby’s Food Truck at 2524 South Street when an 18-wheeler crashed into it. Several people were taken to a local hospital for care, the owners report.

Their statement reads as follows:
Today, while our Ruby’s Food Truck was parked and operating, serving our valued customers in Nacogdoches, it was struck by an 18-wheeler.
At the time of the accident, our staff was working and customers were being attended. Several have been impacted and transported to a local hospital for evaluation and care.
We humbly ask for your prayers during this difficult time — for the healing, strength, and recovery of everyone involved.
On behalf of the entire Ruby’s family, we extend our deepest thoughts, love, and support to our staff and customers. Out of respect for those affected, we have closed our Nacogdoches location for the rest of the day.
We are grateful for your understanding, your kindness, and your prayers.
