Draft Day Food Fest offers food from local vendors while also fighting food insecurity

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – If you’re heading to the draft and are looking for a bite to eat, you’re in luck.

The Draft Day Food Fest is happening throughout the event at the Emplify by Bellin Health Clinic.

Food from a variety of local vendors is available, and it’s all for a good cause.

Those vendors will donate 20% of their sales to Rooted In Inc. to help fight food insecurity in the area.

“We’re fighting food insecurity and we’re rescuing food that would go to waste to feed our community, and it’s a privilege to be able to do that,” says Selena Darrow, the founder and executive director of Rooted In Inc.

The market is open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday.
