CHARLESTON — The North-South All-Star basketball games will have plenty of local flavor when June rolls around.
Elkins’ Maddie Belan, Buckhannon-Upshur’s Alyssa Abel, Tucker County’s Raven Matthews and Pendleton County’s Avery Townsend will suit up for the North team.
Trevan Bonner, who helped guide Tucker County to two straight Class A state runner-up finishes, will play for the North in the boys game.
The remainder of the North girls roster includes Kaitlyn Blake (Wheeling Central), Kilah Dandridge (Spring Mills), Addie Davis (St. Marys), Allie Ellyson (Gilmer County), Maci Neely (Cameron), Faith Pickens (Williamstown), Hannah Stemple (University) and Selena Wilson (Notre Dame).
The South unit includes Brooke Adkins (Wayne), Addyson Amick (Logan), Alexandra Anderson (Hurricane), Cadee Blackburg (Wyoming East), Maggie Boroski (James Monroe), Kynadee Britton (Sissonville), Laila Campbell (Riverside), Brooke Christian (Chapmanville), Halle Crouse (Logan), Allie Daniels (Spring Valley), Jaycee Elzy (St. Albans), Addisyn Smith (Mingo Central), Natalie Smith (Nitro), Preslee Treadway (Nicholas County) and Adrienne Truman (Nicholas County).

Joining Bonner on the North team will be Baustin Bowers (Liberty-Harrison), Jayden Bryant (Williamstown), Keshaun Creek (Martinsburg), Trea Cumberledge (Fairmont Senior), Navier Hewitt (Parkersburg South), Cruz Isaly (Williamstown), Marty Johnson (Morgantown), Preston Luzader (Clay-Battelle), Ben Putnam (Lewis County), Parker Schramm (Williamstown) and Phoenix Sickles (Bridgeport).
The South roster is comprised of Jalon Bailey (Shady Spring), Ethan Blackburn (Cabell Midland), Ashton Davis (Tug Valley), Noah Dawson (Ravenswood), Andrew Fitzwater (Greater Beckley Christian), Joey Gollihue (Chapmanville), Roman Kellum (South Charleston), Isaac Meddings (Wayne), Clay Robertson (Spring Valley), Trey Stump (Nicholas County), Kadien Vance (Westside) and Jaylon Walton (Woodrow Wilson).
The West Virginia Athletic Directors Association announced the roster for the games which will be played June 13 at the South Charleston Community Center.
Both rosters include players who were part of state championship squads.
Girls state champions crowned in March include Class AAAA (Spring Valley), Class AAA (Wayne), Class AA (Charleston Catholic) and Class A (Gilmer County), while the boys state winners were Class AAAA (Spring Mills), Class AAA (Bridgeport), Class AA (Wheeling Central) and Class A (Tug Valley).
