New video games to wishlist for the week of 4/21/2025

2025 has been a huge year for new video game releases and April is no different. From the surprise launch of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to the highly anticipated Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, this week’s releases will not disappoint gamers.

The Elder Scrolls’ Oblivion Remastered (4/22)

Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, PlayStation 5, and PC

Bethesda shocked everyone with the announcement and launch of The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered on the same day. The remaster offers both returning fans and newcomers updated visuals and enhanced gameplay. The Standard Edition includes the base game, Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine expansions and various DLC. The Deluxe Edition adds new quests, a digital artbook along with the standard edition’s expansions and DLC.

Fatal Fury: City of Wolves (4/24)

PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is the seventh main installment in the franchise. The gameplay pays homage to its predecessor’s 2D combat, incorporating a two-lane system in one stage. It also reintroduces the T.O.P. system. Players can utilize a meter system to execute super attacks, including the single-meter Ignition Gear, the double-meter Redline Gear, and more.

Also releasing this week: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, Tempest Rising, Days Gone Remastered, Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade, Maliki Poison of the Past and Sunseed Island.
