Watermark Introduces Annapolis Explorers Summer Camp for Kids in 2025

Watermark, a company with over 50 years of experience in educational and cultural programming, has announced the launch of its new summer camp, Annapolis Explorers by Watermark. Designed for children entering grades 1 through 4, this week-long, half-day camp provides a hands-on opportunity to explore the history, culture, and environment of Annapolis, Maryland.

A Unique Summer Experience in Annapolis

Located in the historic heart of Annapolis, the Annapolis Explorers summer camp combines learning with adventure. Each day of the program features a distinct theme—Annapolis Day, Garden Day, Bay Day, Colonial Day, and Pirate Day—that allows campers to immerse themselves in various fun, educational activities.

Children will enjoy crafts, guided cruises, and interactive lessons led by period-costumed tour guides. The camp is designed to foster curiosity and create a connection to the city’s unique history and the Chesapeake Bay’s ecological importance.

“By week’s end, campers gain not only knowledge but also a profound appreciation for Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay,” according to Watermark. “Annapolis Explorers is the perfect blend of learning and adventure, sparking a lifelong love for history, science, and environmental stewardship in the next generation of explorers.”

Camp Dates and Enrollment Information

Watermark is offering seven one-week sessions beginning on July 7, 2025. Sessions are half-day, making them perfect for younger children. Parents are encouraged to act quickly, as spots are limited.
