15-year-old later dies at hospital after shooting on Macon Road, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one teen dead.

On April 20, around 9:13 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at Macon Road near Chatwood Street.

When police arrived, they discovered that a juvenile had been shot.

The 15-year-old victim was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition; he was later pronounced dead at the hospital after succumbing to his injuries.

There is no suspect information at this time.
