
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The annual Spring Fest in Myrtle Beach continues to grow, drawing hundreds of attendees to Crabtree Lane on Saturday.
The event featured dozens of vendors and food trucks, offering a variety of options for festival-goers.

A highlight for families was the free Easter egg hunt, which catered to children of all ages. A DJ kept the energy high, leading the crowd in dances throughout the day.
This year’s festival had a plant swap, where participants could exchange plants, adding a green touch to the festivities.
Wendy Bass, a recreation leader who worked at the event, emphasized the community aspect of the festival.
You know, it’s being involved with the community, right? First in service is our motto, and it just really it’s a good opportunity to bring people together, a beautiful day, they can come out and have fun,” said Bass. “I work in recreation, and that’s what it’s all about. Having fun.

The Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue engaged attendees by showcasing the inside of a firetruck and their gear, while the Myrtle Beach Police Department also participated, meeting with community members.
Bass noted that over 70 vendors participated in this year’s event, contributing to the festival’s vibrant atmosphere.
