Bethel Car Show attracts 153 vehicles

  • Landon Sutton lifts his son, Greyson, 3, both of Pink, to see inside a 1952 Chevrolet Rat Rod owned by Monty Prince and his son, Denver Prince, both of Bethel. The Princes also own Red Dirt Metalworks and fabricated parts for the vehicle. They worked on it for about 5 or 6 years, and this was their first car show to present it.   • At the Bethel Band Boosters Car Show, a family admires the artwork and reads about 'Plum Crazy,' a 1966 Chevy Panel Truck belonging to Michael Frederick of Shawnee. Frederick said his 17-year-old son, Eugene, did 90 percent of the restoration on the panel truck, beginning when he was 13. The artwork was done by Cameron Dyer of Passion Works Body Shop. The Ninth Annual Bethel Band Boosters Car Show reached new heights this year.The Bethel High School Jazz Band performed that morning.
