MENOMINEE, Mich. (WLUC) – Easter is three days away, and Feeding America West Michigan wants to help residents in Menominee stock their shelves.
The organization’s mobile food pantry is distributing food Thursday morning at the Greater Marinette-Menominee YMCA at 1600 West Drive.
Food will be distributed from 10 a.m. to noon Central time. Families that cannot attend can have some food picked up for them, but the limit is 6 households. Anyone picking up food may need to provide their name, address, and the number of households they plan to pick up for to volunteers.
The pantry is a drive-thru event. Attendees are asked to stay in their vehicle and have enough space in their backseat or trunk to allow volunteers to put food directly inside.
