Restaurants are giving customers’ wallets a break after filing tax returns, offering free food and other specials.

Tax Day offers include:

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is offering $10 off any $40 purchase on dine-in and take-out orders on April 15 using the promo code 10OFF40.

California Pizza Kitchen Rewards members can save $10 off $40 purchases through April 17. Not applicable in Hawaii.

Free tater tots at Dog Haus

On April 15, those who spend $5 or more at Dog Haus can get a free side of tater tots using Haus Rewards.

Buy one Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake Slice at Great American Cookies and get one free, in-store on April 15.

On April 15, Grimaldi’s customers can get $10.40 off any purchase of $30 or more with the code TAXDAY25. The offer is unavailable at New York, New Jersey, Flagstaff, Arizona and Las Vegas Palazzo locations.

Free spaghetti at Fazoli’s on Tax Day

Fazoli’s has a buy-one-get-one-free deal on its classic Baked Spaghetti on April 15. Use promo code TAX25.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers Rewards customers who make a $1 minimum purchase in-store, at the drive-through or using the app will earn double points on purchases.

Free treats on Tax Day at Kona Ice

On April 15, Kona Ice is celebrating National Chill Out Day, with the motto “No Taxation Without Relaxation,” offering free cups of shaved ice. 

In Kentucky, the Kona Ice trucks can be found parked at:

• Arcadia – 208 W. Main St., 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
• Bowling Green – 150 Walton Ave., 2-4 p.m.
