ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A man died on Friday morning after police say he was shot near a DeKalb County food mart.
At around 2:20 a.m., police were called to the 400 block of N Indian Creek Drive, where they found a man in his 30s who had collapsed. The victim died from his injuries.
Police believe the man was originally shot near a food mart in the 4800 block of Memorial Drive, which is less than half a mile away from where he was found.
Officers, who have not yet identified a suspect, collected evidence outside the store.
The investigation is ongoing. Police ask anyone with tips to send them through the Tip411 app or text the tip and “DKPD” to 847411.
