2025 New York International Auto Show Preview

The 125th-anniversary New York International Auto Show is coming later this month, providing car enthusiasts with a celebration of the automotive industry’s continued innovations. From classic vehicles on display to hands-on experiences with carmakers’ new models, the 2025 New York International Auto Show will be one of the largest car shows of the year.

The 2025 NYIAS will take place from April 18 to the 27th at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, which will be jam-packed with showrooms, hands-on experiences, and exhibits.

The 2025 NYIAS is an event lasting just over a week. The official opening day is Saturday, April 19, 2025, with the festivities beginning at 8:30 a.m. EST and the show floor opening at 10 a.m. EST. However, the doors open for the first time on Friday, April 18th. Here is the full schedule from Friday, April 18th to Sunday, April 27th (including Easter Sunday):

  • Monday – Thursdays: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. EST
  • Fridays and Saturdays: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. EST
  • Sundays: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. EST

Media and industry professionals can get early access. If you’re approved for a pass, you can attend preview days on April 16th and 17th ahead of the crowds. Doors will open at 10 a.m. EST on those days.

One of the highlights of the New York Auto Show is the car brand showrooms. These are automakers that have new vehicles from their line on display, allowing customers to sit inside of them, ask questions, and more.

  • Acura (Level 3): A blend of elegance and innovation, Acura’s display is focused on hybrid powertrains, new technology, and safety features in its lineup.
  • Alfa Romeo (level 3): With a history in racing, Alfa Romeo wants to shine a light on its Italian legacy with sedans and SUVs on display.
  • Audi (Level 3): The focus of Audi’s display is its lineup of electric and hybrid models, as well as new technology like driver assistance systems.
  • Bentley (Exotics Booth Level 3): Bentley’s display is all about luxury, showcasing models that will appeal to luxury aficionados at the show.
  • Cadillac (EV Test Track Level 1): Cadillac wants attendees to test drive their new EV line first-hand.
  • Chevrolet (Level 3): From its popular models to all-electric police cars, Chevrolet wants to show its wide range of vehicles across every class.
  • Chrysler (Level 3): Comfort and connectivity are on display at Chrysler’s showroom, featuring family-focused vehicles to luxury models.
  • Dodge (Level 3): Dodge’s power is on display, as well as a look into the brand’s future lineup.
  • Jeep (Level 3): Attendees can take a ride in a collection of Jeeps at Camp Jeep, an off-road course that includes steep inclines and rocky terrains (I’ve done this at the LA Auto Show, and it’s a wild ride).
  • Fiat (Level 3): This showroom will be focused on sustainability, including fun and colorful electric vehicles.
  • Ford (Level 3): Trucks, SUVs, and Mustangs are all on display, showing what’s to come for the brand’s most iconic models.
  • Genesis (Level 3): Genesis will be showing off its latest models, including concept vehicles that show its innovative spirit.
  • Honda (Level 3): From minivans to SUVs, Honda’s display will have a family focus.
  • Hyundai (Level 3): Hybrids, safety features, and sustainability are the focus of the carmaker’s showroom.
  • Kia (Level 3): Kia is hoping to showcase its mission of pushing boundaries in the EV space, showing off design elements and performance upgrades.
  • Lamborghini (Exotics Booth Level 3): Innovation and craftsmanship are at the heart of the Lambo display, which will be full of supercars that push the boundaries of performance.
  • Lincoln (Level 3): Lincoln will be presenting premium mobility of the future at its booth.
  • Lucid (Level 1): The latest innovations in EV technology will be on display, blending performance with sustainability and intelligence.
  • Maserati (Level 3): The latest offerings will be in Maserati’s showroom, showing off the brand’s “distinctive flair.”
  • Mercedes-Benz (Level 3): Luxury sedans are the focus of this showroom, which will show off advancements in the EV market.
  • Nissan (Level 3): Cost-effective vehicles from the future will be shown off by Nissan.
  • Subaru (Level 3): From the Outback to the BRZ, Subaru aims to appeal to families and car enthusiasts alike.
  • Porsche (Level 3): Whether it’s track-ready vehicles or comfortable luxury, Porsche wants to celebrate its elegance and performance at the auto show.
  • Ram (Level 3): Ram trucks on display will appeal to a wide range of lifestyles.
  • Rolls-Royce (Exotics Booth Level 3): Refinement and craftsmanship are the main focus for Rolls-Royce.
  • Toyota (Level 3): Reliable sedans and rugged SUVs will all be available to check out up close at Toyota’s booth.
  • Volkswagen (Level 3): Volkswagen is hoping to excite attendees with its upcoming electric lineup.
  • Volvo (Level 3): Advanced features and cutting-edge technology will be on display in Volvo’s lineup.

What makes industry car shows fun is that there’s a great blend of fun exhibits along with the brand showrooms. The New York International Auto Show is no exception.

Exhibits:

  • Golden Era Exhibit (Crystal Palace): This exhibit will celebrate 1950s cars, showcasing vehicles that embody the spirit of the decade.
  • Exotic Vehicle Booth (Level 3): Luxury vehicle brands will be on display here, featuring some of the most prestigious cars for 2025.
  • Hometown Heroes (Level 1): NYPD vehicles from the past and present will be on display, as well as new electric sanitation trucks and more.
  • Marines (Level 1): From a pull-up challenge to a band performance, the Marines will have a lot of community things to do.
  • Never Ride Stock (Special Events Hall): This custom car experience highlights aftermarket culture with customized cars, trucks, and bikes.
  • Overlander Weekend (Level 1): This immersive showcase celebrates off-road travel and its vehicles.
  • Subaru “Born to Rally” Collection (North Concourse): This is the Subaru collection from James Buzzetta.
  • R2XPO Rides + Rigs (Level 1): A lineup of aftermarket builds showcases strength, rally, off-roading, and more.
  • Subaru Loves Pets (Level 3): This is a chance for attendees to learn about Subaru’s pet-friendly initiatives.
  • Trans Am Worldwide (Crystal Palace): Three reimagined Chevelle Super Sports will be on display.
  • Live Porsche Build: A live, two-day build of a 2006 Porsche Carrera S. by Akira Nakai will be at the car show for the first time.

  • Camp Jeep (Inner Roadway): Adrenaline junkies will love this off-road inspired obstacle course, including super challenging terrain that Jeeps will tackle with ease.
  • Ford Bronco Built Wild Ride (Inner Roadway): Take a ride on a Bronco over a fun performance track that shows the vehicle’s 4×4 capabilities.
  • EV Test Track (Level 1): From Cadillac to Kia to Volkswagen, there are 15 vehicles to choose from, all part of the future of EVs.
  • Hyundai Test Track (Level 3): Take a ride in one of Hyundai’s vehicles.

There will also be a marketplace throughout the event, featuring a wide range of booths. This includes car-related products to much more.

2025 New York International Auto Show Tickets

Tickets to the 2025 New York Auto Show are available right now. Adult admission is $22, and children’s tickets are $8. Tickets can be purchased at Etix.
