Myrtle Beach Food Truck & Music Festival kicks off Friday

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Folks can grab a taste of everything as the Myrtle Beach Food Truck & Music Festival gets underway.

The three-day festival kicks off Friday at noon and goes through Sunday at the Old Myrtle Beach Mall site, 2501 North Kings Highway.

There will be over 55 food trucks serving everything from smoky BBQ, global street food, coastal favorites and indulgent desserts, according to a news release.

Along with food, there will be craft beer from Wicked Weed, a brewery based in Asheville, N.C., local vendors and live music, the news release states.

On the music side of things, there will be several acts hitting the state throughout the weekend.

The event schedule and music schedule can be found below:

FRIDAY:

  • Noon – 8 p.m.
MUSIC
  • 3 – 5 p.m. – Bailey Road
  • 5:30 – 8 p.m. – Mariah Faith

SATURDAY

  • 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
MUSIC
  • 11 – 12:30 p.m. – Preston Duffee
  • 1 – 4:30 p.m. – Old Soul
  • 5:30 – 8 p.m. – Warrick McZeke

SUNDAY

  • 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
MUSIC
  • 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. – Julio & The Saltines

Organizers said that there will be 1,500 plus free parking spots on site. Kids 12 and under get into the festival for free.

For everyone else, daily entry tickets are $10. Tickets will be sold at the gate, but organizers encourage people to pre-purchase.
