Management students fuel preschool learning at Kids of the Kingdom Preschool

All day Friday, April 11, Management 101’s Company C, “Caps for the Classroom,” will be hosting a dine-to-donate fundraiser at All Star Bagels. Through dining at All Star, 20% of all profits will go toward funding educational resources for their partner, Kids of the Kingdom Preschool. In addition, customers can use code CAPSOFF on online orders for 15% off their order.

Management 101 is an experiential learning course in Bucknell’s management curriculum where students form their own companies and work with local organizations to create lasting value in the community. This semester, Company C is partnering with Kids of the Kingdom Preschool to help enrich the learning environment for its young students.

Company C believes that every child deserves an inviting and effective space to learn. In partnership with Kids of the Kingdom Preschool, they will strive to create an environment that enhances early childhood education. The company aims to supplement Kids of the Kingdom preschool with a mural, renovated benches and cabinets, new gardens and a newly organized and sanitized place to learn. Refurbishing their indoor and outdoor facilities, as well as providing them with necessary resources, will allow the school to provide quality education. Company C is motivated by their passion to create a real and sustainable impact on the quality of early childhood education in the local Lewisburg area.

In addition to the company’s service and hosting the dine-to-donate fundraiser at All-Star, they have also created an Amazon Wishlist (available via QR code) and a Zeffy QR Donation site (also available via QR code) to donate funds directly to the preschool.

Lastly, to complement these three fundraisers, “Caps for the Classroom” will be selling their company designed hats around campus this week. All profits will go to the Kids of the Kingdom Preschool. Sales are happening Friday from 3-4 p.m. in the Walls Lounge and will continue throughout next week in the ELC and outside the Bertrand Library. Those interested can visit @capsfortheclassroom on Instagram for a complete list of all dates, times and locations.

Through participation in Friday’s event, fundraisers and product sales, “Caps for the Classroom” can help to ensure that the next generation of learners has access to safe, engaging and well-equipped spaces to grow and thrive. Bucknell students, members of University faculty and local residents alike can all help to make a difference.

Company C urges all to come out and enjoy a great day at All Star while supporting a great cause with “Caps for the Classroom.”
