Now, let’s take a look at the upcoming weekend to see what free and low-cost events are coming up.

5th annual Earth Day Celebration
The Self Love Club will be hosting its fifth annual Earth Day celebration at Rid-All Green Partnership on Sunday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will help clean up the farm, plant crops and learn more about sustainability practices. Light refreshments will be provided.
Founder of The Self Love Club, Sunda Tan, is pleased to see how the event has grown over the years. She expects another great turn out this weekend.
“During the pandemic, some friends and I were craving ways to connect with the community. Every Sunday we would go to Rid-All and help out around the farm,” Tan said. “More and more people would show up every week. It’s turned into a pretty big event.”

Tan encourages the community to come out on Sunday and get their hands dirty for a good cause. “When we do this work, it helps the farm get a month or two ahead of their daily work. It’s a lot of fun, and I think people will appreciate the experience.”
Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty in. Rid-All Green Partnership is located at 8129 Otter Ave. The event will be held rain or shine. For more information or to reserve your spot, click here. Check out this video recap from last year’s event:
