Healthcare Finance Executive to Chair 2025 Heart of the Hamptons in Support of Heart Health

Jennifer Damico of Pfizer Steps Up as Chairperson for Premier Long Island Event

MELVILLE, N.Y., Apr. 7, 2025 – The American Heart Association, a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives, has named Jennifer Damico, senior vice president, chief accounting officer and controller of Pfizer, as chairperson of the 2025 Heart of the Hamptons: Sand & Style Soirée. The event will take place on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club in Bridgehampton, N.Y.

Damico, who has been with Pfizer since 1992, said she is passionate about the company’s mission of delivering “Breakthroughs that Change Patients’ Lives” and believes it aligns closely with the American Heart Association’s efforts to advance cardiovascular health.

“I am honored to chair the 2025 Heart of the Hamptons campaign,” said Damico. “Heart disease and stroke continue to impact too many lives on Long Island and beyond. Through this campaign, we have the opportunity to raise awareness, fund lifesaving research and put a stop to the growing number of families affected by cardiovascular disease. Together, we can make a real difference.”

The Heart of the Hamptons campaign is a year-round initiative that unites the local community in the fight against cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in the U.S. The campaign culminates in the Heart of the Hamptons: Sand & Style Soirée, an elegant evening that celebrates the progress made in improving heart health through research, advocacy and community engagement.
