EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – The L.E. Phillips YMCA Sports Center in Eau Claire hosted a ‘Healthy Kids Expo’ for all to enjoy.
Those attending were able to engage with various vendors and participate in healthy activities like martial arts and dance.
They also had a family marketplace with information from local vendors about the services they provide and various services throughout the Chippewa Valley.
Executive Director for the sports center, Bonnie Nicolai, explained the programs they offer.
“Beyond the typical gym and swim, for kids we also offer fitness classes, a variety of sports programs, we offer health intervention programs. We offer ‘live strong’ which is a cancer survivorship program.” she said.
Saturday April 12, 2025 the Chippewa Falls YMCA will host their annual ‘Healthy Kids Day’ with activities both in and outdoors for families to enjoy.
