Restaurant Week
Tuesday, April 22 to Saturday, April 26
Hosted by Downtown Partners, Sioux City’s Restaurant Week: Dinner Edition is planned to take place at the end of April.
Ragen Cole, the Executive Director of Downtown Partners says all participating chefs and restaurant owners are looking forward to showcasing their menus this year.
“Restaurant Week is such a big hit for our local businesses,” said Cole, “The community really comes out for this one, so I would suggest making your reservations now. Last year some places were too full to accommodate two of us. That’s a great problem to have!”
The purpose of Restaurant Week is to show local dishes at a decent price. Each participating restaurant will have a $30 grand prix dinner menu that shows their own versions of an appetizer, main entree, and dessert.
Sixteen restaurants are participating in this year’s Restaurant Week. These include:
- 1854 Grille
- Bistro on 4th
- Buffalo Alice
- The Diving Elk
- El Comal
- House of Q2
- Main + Abbey
- Marto Brewing Co.
- Melting Cow
- Pete’s Thai
- Rebos
- SoHo Kitchen & Bar
- Table 32
- T. Foolery’s
- Trattoria Fresco
- Woodbury’s An American Steakhouse.
Each of these restaurants will have an on-site menu during Restaurant Week, but menus will also be available online at downtownsiouxcity.com.
Sioux City Food Truck Fridays
Starts Friday, June 6; Registration Session on Tuesday, April 22
A tasty tradition is back and better than ever!
Beginning Friday, June 6, the fan-favorite event will enter its 10th session. An event also hosted by Downtown Partners; space is limited for the season.
All registrations are first-come, first-serve, according to Downtown Partners. An online vendor registration session will take place on Tuesday, April 22 at 6 p.m.
“Ten years is a big deal,” said Elizabeth Stewart, an event coordinator for Downtown Partners. “We are looking forward to another successful season with a few surprises in store.”
