NORTH PORT, Fla. (WWSB) – In most instances, police see the worst of humanity. In some good cases, they get to point out those who do the right thing.
The North Port Police Department, the North Port Early Bird Kiwanis and the Sarasota County Schools Police Department recognize local kids through our “Do the Right Thing” program.
The program nominates students for kids doing great deeds in the community.
Do you know of a local kid who has accomplished, assisted, or made an outstanding effort as a positive role model for their peers? Nomination forms can be completed and handed in to your school resource officer.
