Help to stock shelves by donating to WTVM’s Spring Into Action Food Drive

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Many of our neighbors in west Georgia and east Alabama are facing uncertainties caused by inflation.

WTVM, Feeding the Valley and The Food Bank of East Alabama are asking for your help to stock the shelves of local food banks by donating to WTVM’s Spring Into Action Food Drive.

You can help make a difference by donating a non-perishable food item(s) at our sponsors locations from now until Thursday, April 17. Check out the list below:

• Canned vegetables (beans, peas,carrots, etc.)
• Canned soups
• Canned meats
• Flour
• Rice
• Peanut butter
• Pasta
• Corn meal
• Breakfast cereal and bars
• Any canned, bagged or boxed non-perishable food

There will be a one-day drop-off event on April 17 at WTVM – located at 1909 Wynnton Road. You can come by anytime that day from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Donations will be accepted through April 17 and benefit Feeding the Valley Food Bank and Food Bank of East Alabama. For more information, click HERE.
