Get Food Smart reduces significant food waste at Agnes Little

PAWTUCKET – Students at Agnes Little Elementary School are taking food waste reduction into their own hands by participating as rangers in the Get Food Smart program, which the school has been running in partnership with the Rhode Island School Recycling Program since last October.

Principal Samantha Moretti, previously Samantha Stringfellow, as well as RISRP officials and students, shared updates about the program and how it works with Pawtucket School Committee members on March 25.
