‘Exploring new ideas’: Kids, authors interact at Children’s Book Festival in Johnstown

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – When John Patrick Green was a child, he started writing and drawing his own books.

“Writing, drawing and coming up with my own stories was an outlet for me, so now being able to give and show kids that this is a valuable experience that they could also have is what makes this the most rewarding for me,” the children’s book author said Sunday at The Learning Lamp’s 16th annual Children’s Book Festival.
