The CHSAA Selection and Seeding Index for Spring 2025 is now available. View all rankings for all classifications on the Seeding and Selection hub.
The Seeding Index is calculated by averaging each team’s rating in the CHSAA RPI and the MaxPreps Rankings. These ratings are normalized within their classification, then combined and averaged. Answers to frequently asked questions about the Seeding Index, including an explanation of how the normalization is calculated, can be found on the Seeding Index FAQ page.
During the regular season, the RPI data is updated hourly, and the MaxPreps data is updated Monday and Thursday. Once the regular season ends, the data will be finalized and frozen.
