BATESVILLE, Ark. (KAIT) – It’s Food Truck Friday! This week, we’re highlighting Meme’s Burgery in Batesville.
The food truck offers hot dogs and churros, but what it’s most known for is the craft burgers.
Mixing elements from their own background with some flare from Houston, Texas, the owners Paola and Manuel Ramirez, have been making burgers since 2020.
With toppings like fried plantain, grilled pineapple and chimichurri sauce, they try to put together perfect flavors and encourage customers to eat them as they come.
Their first day open, they were shocked at the response from the community. Years later, they’re still amazed at how much people love stopping by their food truck.
Meme’s Burgery has won first place twice in the Miracle League Burger Competition People Choice Award for 2023 and 2024. They’re headed back in April to try for a third time. They also won top 10 best burger in Arkansas in 2024.
With such a positive response, the Ramirez’ are hoping to expand into other areas of Arkansas sometime soon.
Meme’s Burgery is located at 614 S. St. Louis Street in Batesville. You can find their menu and their business hours here.
