LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Pulaski County hosted its first ‘Food Truck Thursday’ of the year today, in partnership with Little Rock’s ‘Our Blood Institute’.
In addition to local food trucks, the Arkansas Blood Mobile was stationed outside the Pulaski County Administration Building, taking walk-in donations.
Our Blood Institute has just recently come out of an emergency blood shortage, but they tell us donations are still as important as ever.
“It’s so important. Only about 3% of the United State population donates, and so we’re always looking for new donors to come out and be able to just join our team and be able to help us support the United State population with blood.”
Our Blood Institute has a permanent location on Shackleford Road here in Little Rock.
