UPPER MICHIGAN, Mich. (WLUC) – Feeding America West Michigan and its mobile food pantry are scheduled to hold two food distribution events in Upper Michigan Thursday.
The first event is at Grace Covenant Church at 316 Jasper Street in Iron River. Food distribution begins at 1 p.m. Central time. The second event is at the GCCP Dunlap Center at 6545 M-123 in Newberry. Food distribution there starts at 2 p.m. Eastern time. Both pantries are drive-thru events with multiple stopping points to allow volunteers to place food directly into each vehicle.
Attendees can pick up meals for 1 to 6 households, but will need to give the name and address for each household they’re picking up for.
