These 70 Topeka locations passed food safety and lodging inspections last month

The vast majority of Shawnee County service establishments inspected last month passed their food safety and lodging inspections.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture has the authority to regulate food establishments, food processing plants and lodging establishments. State records show that 70 of the 76 total Topeka area service establishments inspected in February passed with either no violations or only relatively minor ones. Seven didn’t pass.

Most inspections were routine, but inspectors also visited after complaints, for licensing, follow-ups and other reasons.

The following service establishments were reported to be in compliance when inspectors visited in February:

• Papa Murphys Pizza, 1035 S.W. Gage.
• Pizza Hut, 3703 S.W. Burlingame Road, Suite 100.
