Need a night off? Kids’ Night Out events are the perfect way to enjoy a night off from parenting while the kids have fun in a safe and supervised space. Check out the April Kids’ Night Out events below.
Recurring Events
Fun Friday @ Stars and Stripes (Clarkston) – Fridays, September – May
- The Stars & Stripes facility is open for the evening providing kids ages 7 and above an opportunity to get moving, hang with friends and use our multiple athletic areas for activities including warrior obstacles, dodge-ball, 1/2 court basketball, open play and more! The evening will include pizza and beverages for all Fun Friday participants. Pre registration is required as space is limited.

Kids’ Night Out @ Troy Gym (Troy) – Saturdays in March
- Participants need to bring a water, snack or single dollar bills/quarters for vending/ice cream; we will have a designated snack time
- Ages: 5 – 12
- Cost: $20 per child (*$10 ZRC add-on for height appropriate participants; closed toe shoes required)
- Time: 6:30pm – 9:30pm

Kids Night Out! @ Mad Science Lab (Novi)
- Kids can spend a few hours at the Mad Science Lab. Kids will also get to explore Art & Science experiences and we’ll always have a movie available so kids can also sit back, relax, and catch a G-Rated flick!
- Ages: PreK (with an older sibling) – 5th Grade
- Cost: $19 per child
- Time: 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Pets and Pajamas @ Humane Society of Huron Valley (Ann Arbor)
- Event includes adoptable animal interaction, a cheese pizza dinner, and an animal-themed movie with popcorn!
- Ages: 6 – 11

Kids Night Out: Water World! @ RAC (West Bloomfield)
- Celebrate Earth Day and the watery world around us! Design and build working water turbines, create an underwater cave rescue inspired by a true story, and mix up a special batch of ocean-themed slime to take home. Enjoy a fun and educational evening with friends while parents get a well-deserved break!

Parents’ Night Out @ Great Lakes Athletic Club (Orion Twp)
- What’s better than a babysitter on a Friday night? An awesome night out for your kids too! Your kids will have a blast participating in their favorite gym activities along with pizza! We’ve also partnered with our favorite Baldwin corridor restaurants so you can enjoy a special night out in close proximity

Saturday, April 5th
Kids’ Night Out @ Michigan Academy of Gymnastics (Ann Arbor & Westland)
- Your children will have a blast with a variety of activities. Plus, we’ll take care of dinner with everyone’s favorite: pizza! We offer more than just babysitting at a better price. Your kids will stay active and social while you relax and enjoy your evening
- Ages: 4 – 14
- Cost: $25 per child
- Time: 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Kids’ Night Out @ The Robot Garage (Birmingham)
- Register to bring your kids to The Robot Garage for their own evening of fun while you enjoy an evening for yourself. After a pizza dinner, kids will enjoy a variety of robotic and LEGO activities at their leisure– robot battles, LEGO tables, even a photo booth souvenir to remember their favorite parts of the evening! Recommended Grade level is K-6 but is open to your own discretion!

Parents Night Out @ YMCA (Boll Location, Detroit)
- Whether your kids are looking for new fun and adventures at the Y, or you crave a kids-free night out, the Y’s Parents’ Day or Night Out programs are the perfect way to give yourself some time away while your kids play and learn alongside their peers under the supervision of our caring and trained staff
- Ages: 18 months – 12

Parents’ Night Out @ Radcliff Center (Garden City)
- Go out for date night, run some errands, or simply have a fun night at home while the kids are safe watching movies, making crafts, playing games, and eating pizza!

Spring Fling Party @ RARA (Rochester)
- Spring is in the air, and it’s time for a night of fun, creativity, and adventure at our Spring Fling Party! While parents enjoy a well-deserved evening out, kids (ages 5-12) will celebrate the season with exciting games, crafts, pizza and sweet treats (peanut free) in a safe and festive environment.

Eyas Babysitting Club @ The HAWK (Farmington Hills)
- The Eyas Babysitting Club is a new program created to help parents enjoy a night out! Parents can plan a special night out to view a concert while kids get to enjoy a night in at the Hawk Community Center. Hawk Recreation Staff will plan and oversee activities for your child(ren) to enjoy during select concert performances. Must be attending an on-site performance

Kid’s Night Out @ Franklin Athletic Club (Southfield)

- The kids will play while the parents are away! Enjoy a date night while your children spend an evening at the factory. Participants will have an all-access pass to open play, specialty activities & games, crafts & dinner.

A Dinner Date with Childcare?
While it might sound “too good to be true,” the owners of Host Utica, Michael and Andrea, have done just that. As parents of 2 young boys they know just how important it is to have uninterrupted meal time to reconnect with your partner. Which is why they offer a Parent’s Night Out every Tuesday – Thursday from 5pm – 10pm. So how does this work:
- Reservations required 1 day before you plan to dine to ensure adequate staffing
- Cost: $8 for 1.5 hours per child. An additional $3 per child for every 30 minutes after the initial 1.5 hours
- Parents MUST remain on site and will be notified to change children who are not potty trained
- Activities provided
- Limited kids menu available to send food up to children
