Lehigh Valley Auto Show on track for attendance record of over 65,000 attendees this year

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Featuring all car makes and models and being able to see them up close, this year’s Lehigh Valley Auto Show is in the fast lane to a new record as it comes to a close.

“We are on pace to be at over 65,000 people this year,” said Dan Moyer, executive director of the Lehigh Valley Auto Show.

Speeding past 62,000 people at last year’s show, Moyer said the show drew in 30,000 people on Saturday alone.

It came with new show features like the Pit Crew Challenge and meet and greets with people like Super Bowl Champion Brandon Graham.

“So, we try to make events within the event to make it good for everyone, to make something for everyone that comes here to the show,” said Moyer.

And while people are able to get a look at cars of today, others were able to see Mustangs from the past.

“And so we came out with our cars to kind of spread the word about our club, what we do,” said Corey Herman with the First Pennsylvania Mustang Club.

The First Pennsylvania Mustang Club display was one of those special events at the show.

“It was a nice thing to have folks come by and reminisce about the old cars that they had,” said Herman.

All at a show Moyer said he expects to grow.

“It’s great for the public, you know and when we do the show, the pubic is able to come in, sit in a car, smell the car, touch the car and maybe dream about owning it one day,” said Moyer.
