It’s a beautiful day to check out the Lehigh Valley Auto Show in Bethlehem.
69 News Reporter Jaccii Farris has spent the morning talking with folks about their ideal cars. She joined us live outside Stabler Arena, where a bunch of classic dream cars are on display.
These cars are part of a Thunderbird Club…
Ford Started making the Thunderbird in 1955. You may remember the T-birds appearance in the iconic film Thelma and Louise, or watched one make the fastest Nascar qualifying lap ever.
It’s no wonder this American classic is a dream car, here’s what other vehicles made our list.
At the Lehigh Valley Auto Show you can’t walk 5 feet without running smack dab into somebody’s dream car.
So, we asked, what rev’s your engine?
“Mustang convertible, v8 Yeah, because it’s I would like to wear a scarf, a silk scarf, and a nice hat, and go down Highway One in California.”
Sportscars were a big hit with auto show fans…
“I would say the Lamborghini. We do. I’ll talk because how many, how many see around and the fast and the cool.”
Cool seems to be the main ingredient for dream cars, but they are not always sporty.
“I like the INEOS SUVs over there, just because I like the defender style, like old defender styles.”
For some, making the wish list means the dream car is loaded with goodies, like this explorer van.
“We do a lot of traveling. It actually has a bed that goes down. If somebody needs to take a nap, they can get a nap. He’s got entertainment center. He’s got the TV, the DVD player.”
What’s my dream car you ask? A 2025 mid-engine Eray Corvette.
It’s a V8 with 495 horsepower in the rear and an electric motor up front, the first all-wheel drive Corvette model ever made.
The color, Histeria purple metallic with silver sterling racing stripes.
But it’s not the vet itself that makes it my dream car, it’s the dream man who owns it and the fun we have in it.
That’s me and my husband Rob taking part in the Corvette Caravan last summer to the Corvette Factory and Museum in Bowling Green Kentucky.
We went with the Allentown Corvette Club and were one of roughly 3,000 corvettes from across the country that made the trip.
The Allentown Corvette Club will have a car show here tomorrow from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
If you are into Mustangs, the mustang club will be out here on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
So much to see and do at the Lehigh Valley Auto Show.
