Motor Mania Car Show returns to Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.–Severe weather couldn’t stop one event Saturday in Jackson.

The Motor Mania Car Show happened indoors at the fairgrounds. The event took place from 9 in the morning until 4 the afternoon.

The show, presented annually by Thomas Media, offers the chance to peruse all kinds of interesting vehicles.

There were classic hotrods, custom rides, imports, and exotic cars. There were also various trucks and motorcycles featured.

The vehicles are judged and at the end of the day trophies awarded for Top 20, Best in Show Truck, Car, and Motorcycle, Top 5 SUVs, Most Unique and more.

Guests at the event could also enjoy live music from the band Bandana.

“I know we’ve got the rain but listen there’s nothing like bringing people together. It’s about sharing what people do, that have a passion for what they do. I’ve been showing cars a long time. I’ve always come to this show and I finally got a chance to be a part of it. I was asked and I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I’ve got to be a part of that! I mean I love cars’,” said Bronson Dinkins, owner of Bronson Auto Boutique.

The first 300 kids also received a special gift.

This year’s event was sponsored by Victory Honda of Jackson, Thomas Media, Bronson’s Auto Boutique, Tennessee Gutter Pros, REV Powersports, and First Citizens National Bank.

This is the 14th year for the car show to take place in Jackson.
