A Fast Food Guide to Eating in Your Car Without the Spillage

I enjoy eating while driving, and I’m not ashamed to admit it! My wife, however, hates it when I eat in the car. You might wonder, “Why” do you insist on having a meal while driving?” Let me explain: I take immense pleasure in driving, and my love for food is undeniable. Combining these two passions creates an experience that brings me great joy! I am a simple man.

According to the Ridgefield law firm Hastings, Cohan & Walsh, there is no specific law prohibiting eating while driving. However, you can receive a ticket for distracted driving if your actions, such as eating, lead to erratic driving or result in a moving violation.

Before sharing which fast foods are ideal for eating while driving, I want to mention the sandwich I find most challenging to consume on the road. That would be a 6-inch Rotisserie Chicken Sub from Subway, filled with lettuce, tomato, onions, provolone, and pickles, all topped with a light spread of sweet onion teriyaki sauce. The first time I ordered this sandwich while driving home, the pickles flew out of the sub and splattered on the front of my pants, quickly followed by a splotch of teriyaki sauce. It was definitely a bad judgment call on my part. Keep scrolling to find out which fast foods are the easiest and least messy to eat while driving according to the ‘Gordon Ramsay of Fast Food!’
