Rising prices have taken a toll on Gracie’s Bulldog Grill Food Truck in Blauvelt and Gracie’s Parkside in Pearl River, so much so that chef AJ Servidio, who owns the truck with his wife, Jen, announced the business will be closing at the end of the month.

“Due to the rising prices, the lack of availability and the limited availability of products, our business cannot survive,” reads a Facebook post from March 10.

“We would like to thank all of our customers from the bottom of our hearts for all their support and love over the years.”

The food truck, which served the Rockland community for four and a half years (even on the coldest winter days), was known for its local fresh ingredients and personalized sandwiches that felt like they were made with love. The motto? “Not your typical food truck. We are a restaurant on wheels.”

Among the popular dishes: “Barbara’s” French Onion grilled cheese with provolone, Swiss, parmesan and caramelized onions on toasted sourdough bread, “Rico’s” Cuban sandwich with pork, Black Forest ham, Swiss, pickles and spicy brown mustard, pressed on a Ciabatta hero and “Jen’s” strawberry patch salad with strawberries, craisins, candied walnuts and crumbed goat cheese over mixed greens.

For now you can stop by the truck or call in your pickup orders at 845-538-2140. You can also order online for pickup or delivery.

The kitchen in Pearl River is also closing.
