New 318 Food Fest to be held in Shreveport

A 318 Food Fest celebrating north Louisiana foods will be held in Shreveport in March.

The 318 Food Fest information reads, “We are inviting all lovers of food, music, and Louisiana culture to come ‘pass a good time’ and celebrate with us.”

This family-friendly outdoor event is presented by Rich Establishments LLC.

Organizer Rich Auntie Da’Da’ said that the idea for the festival came from being a food critic.

“For the last three years I’ve explored and reviewed almost every restaurant in Shreveport-Bossier,” she said. “I’m an advocate for Shreveport and Louisiana as a whole so I decided to bring my passion for food together and create a festival for it.”

She said there will be live music as well as activities for kids, like bounce houses and face painting.
