CHERRYVILLE, N.C. — A woman employed as an elementary school finance manager has been arrested and charged with embezzlement, according to county records.
Helaine Davis was arrested on Friday, according to Gaston County records. She was given a $10,000 bond.
WCNC Charlotte has reached out to the school district and the police department for comment.
It was not immediately known if the charges were related to her work at the school or elsewhere.
