UW-River Falls Obtains NCAA Women’s Ice Hockey Invitation

INDIANAPOLIS–University of Wisconsin-River Falls, the defending national champion, has received an invitation into the NCAA Division III Women’s Ice Hockey Championship.
 
The Falcons (23-3-2) claimed one of four at-large bids into the 12-team field and will host the winner of Plattsburgh State (N.Y.) (20-6-1) and Elmira University (N.Y.) (20-7-1) in the quarterfinals on March 22. UW-River Falls will make its sixth consecutive NCAA appearance – and 16th overall.
 
The national semifinals and championship will be held March 28 and 30 at Hunt Arena in River Falls, Wis.
