Lake City Police officials hand out food bags to hungry residence

LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) – Lake City Police officers helped hand out hundreds of meals to residents this morning.

They hosted the farm share food drive.

Hundreds of food bags were handed out to Lake City residents.

They prepared 500 bags to hand out to families who can’t put food on the table.

The bags come from Farm Share, a nonprofit food bank working to feed hungry Floridians.
