AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – If you like cars and want to help more military families, Augusta University has you covered.
The university held the Motors for Military event on Saturday.
It is a car show that was hosted on the Summerville campus.
There was also food, games, music and activities for the whole family.

The proceeds from the show benefit military students to be able to continue their education without worrying about the cost.
“We had over 76 cars,” said Tasha Barber, student worker for Military and Veteran Services at Augusta University. “It just lets you know that they care and not they’re showing off beauty.”
Awards were handed out for the best car, truck, jeep, tractor, motorcycle, staff choice and best of show.
If you missed out, the organization is hoping to do the event again next year.
