MADISON, Wis. — The annual food drive “Scouting For Food” from Scouting America is back Saturday.
Scouts will pick up non-perishable food donations left on doorsteps. Some troops will host food drive collection events at local grocery stores.
All donations will go to food pantries like the Second Harvest Foodbank, the Sunshine Place Emergency Food Pantry and more.

“I think, it’s, it’s a matter of learning about their community, learning about the needs of their community, you know? They’re going to have their eyes open in a good way, learning about food insecurity and how they help out. And I think they’re going to get excited,” said Assistant Scout Executive of Scouting America, Jason Ballew.
Beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow, scouts will pick up donations. All you have to do is leave them out your doorsteps.
