AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – In this week’s New in Amarillo, two local food trucks are expanding across town and moving into their own building.
The Brunch Truck of Amarillo
The Brunch Truck of Amarillo is officially open with its own building located at 213 SW 7th Ave.
The passion for food for one individual drove him to be inspired to open up his own food restaurant.
Paul Olivarez, owner of The Brunch Truck, has been in the food industry for many years and decided to finally open up his own business.
A full vegan menu is offered at the restaurant with delicious entrees including breakfast burritos, sandwiches and salads.
“I try to create an atmosphere particular of our mantra. Our mantra is be kind and change the world. The positive vibe is with our music. We have a really good vibe music, the food. We also, if people come in they always notice the chalkboard writing on the walls, they are positive affirmations,” said Olivarez.
Olivarez says he strives to push positivity and wants his customers to come in and feel welcomed.
Customers can expect to see outside dining starting in late spring.
The Brunch Truck is open Tuesday through Sunday.
Yolos
The Yolos breakfast and brunch food truck was established back in 2018 and construction is underway for a new location across town.
The food truck currently resides at 316 SW 6th Ave and is open Monday through Saturday.
Yolos will open up another location at the end of March on Western Street.
“We are blessed be able to keep our doors open and we are hoping that this transition to a higher traffic area will help that and will bring our delicious food across town where more families can enjoy it,” said Yallanda Grazier, owner of Yolos.
Yolos is well-known for its huge omelets, breakfast burritos and its famous ‘Mac Attack’ mac-n-cheese.
Grazier says she hopes to continue offering food around the community and is thankful for the support they have received.
